Cameron Puckett - Kicker
The Westfall senior has been nearly automatic in 2008. When the snap and hold are
clean, Puckett has knocked it through at a 90% clip. Puckett has also helped with
field-position by consistently planting kick-offs inside the 10-yard line.
OVERLOOKED INTANGIBLES PLAY HUGE ROLE IN SUCCESS OF MUSTANGS
With names like D.J. Cain and Ben Cline posting the stat lines that they post on a weekly basis, it is
sometimes easy to overlook the "little things" being done by the conference champions. Westfall has done
a great job up front opening running lanes for all the talented backs.

Westfall's defense has continued to improve throughout the year. Tyler Smith anchors the defensive line
that frees up space for linebackers Tyler Cobb and Nick Hammond.

Special teams have been a huge part of Westfall's success. Cameron Puckett has been very consistent in
the kicking game, and the return game with Cline and Bryant Gibson is a threat to go the distance on
every touch.
