A week after finishing runner-up at the district track meet, the Lady Bearcats of Paint Valley finished third at this week's regional

Charlene Stout won the 400. Baker is also heading to Columbus in the shot (3rd) and Stout is going in another event as well with
her top-four finish in the 200. Even though Laci Stanforth did not qualify for the state, the sophomore did play a key role in the
third-place team finish with her fifth place finish in the pole vault.

On the boys' side, Paint Valley also had a regional champion as Daniel Gardner crossed first in the 3200. Several other boys and
girls from the SVC are heading to state.
