The Scioto Valley Conference played league match #3
Thursday night in Bainbridge at Valley Vista. Two nights
ago it was Colton Forcum's 33 leading the way for the
winning Unioto squad, and Thursday night, Forcum
delivered a medal round of 36 to help the purple and
gold make it three straight wins to start the season.

Individually, Huntington's Duane Irvin continued his solid
play finishing just one stroke back of Forcum with a 37.
Other than Forcum and Irvin, Unioto's Josh Cushing
shot the only other round in the 30's as he carded a 39.

Remember, individuals must play in seven matches to
qualify for all-league at the end of the year. If a player
does score in all eight, only the player's top seven scores
will count in the all-league standings.

Obviously, Unioto's depth continues to be the difference
in the league race, but a story that continues to show up
in league play is the young Southeastern Panthers. Ben
Davis, Eli McKee, and Layton Ackley continue to
perform at an all-league level, and Thursday night
Kannon Strausbaugh added a 42. If the blue and white
continue to get this fourth score, they have a great
chance at contending in any league match.

The league will return to action Wednesday night at
Running Fox for SVC Match #4. Entering that match,
Unioto leads the league with 24 points while
Southeastern holds a 20-19 lead over Huntington for
third place. Click
