Unioto's depth continues to be the thing that makes them the elite team in this year's golf league. On Thursday night, Zane Trace's Drew Davis and Jordan Long both carded medal rounds of 39; however, Unioto was able to post four rounds better than Zane Trace's third and fourth score to capture a one-stroke victory in SVC Match #6.

Throughout the year, three or four different teams have matched the Shermans stroke-for-stroke in the top couple of spots, but someone different always seems to supply Unioto with the lift they need. Thursday, Drew Nichols, Cory Porter, and Colton Forcum all shot 42. Dallas Johnson added a 44 to give Unioto a winning score of 170.

Individually, Westfall's Nathan Cline and Huntington's Duane Irvin followed Davis and Long. Cline and Irvin both shot a round of 41. Cline's round as well as a 42 from Cameron Coup helped Westfall to a third place finish, and Irvin continues to be the leader for this year's SVC
Player of the Year.
