LEAGUE STANDINGS
When all is finished in the 2009 season, it is quite possible that SVC fans will look back at Wednesday's SVC Match #3 at Valley Vista as the night Unioto took control of the season standings. For the third time in as many matches, Unioto posted a win, but it is what took place after them that shakes up the standings.

Zane Trace's James Kessler and Daniel Melton each carded rounds of 39 to give the Pioneers a second-place finish. Third-place was shared by Westfall and Adena - who was led by medalist Evan Hirsch with a round of 36; however, Westfall took the fifth-man tiebreaker with Calib Puckett's 43.

All this dropped Huntington to fifth place on the night giving Unioto a six point lead with five rounds remaining.

The key to Unioto continues to be its great depth and the steady play of junior Drew Nichols who shot a 37 to lead the Tanks.

Next Wednesday SVC Match #4 will take place at Running Fox Golf Course.
