For the second straight year, Unioto has won the first two league matches. The win Tuesday night came at Dogwood Hills where Unioto's 167 was five better than Huntington. A year ago Unioto built the same lead only to see Huntington finish with a huge second half of the season to take the title.

One positive for Huntington was its ability to hold off Westfall. The Mustangs shot a 173 - just one back of Huntington - allowing the Huntsmen to hold on to second-place instead of dropping another point to the Shermans.

On the individual side of things, Huntington's Duane Irvin and Unioto's Drew Nichols continued their fine seasons by carding rounds of 38 to take medalist honors.

The eight schools have no time to think about these round two results, because all eight schools get together tomorrow night (Wednesday night) for SVC Match #3 at Valley Vista in Bainbridge.
