| The Scioto Valley Conference champions the Unioto Shermans shot a 340 which was more than enough to advance the team to next week's Districts. Westfall will join the Shermans as their 358 put them in a fifth-place tie-breaker which they won. Zane Trace's 360 failed to qualify; however, Jordan Long's 86 and Drew Davis's 87 (had to win in playoff) made both Pioneers individual qualifiers. The SVC story of the day was Southeastern's Ben Davis. Davis shot the SVC low round of the day with his score of 81. Despite Davis's great play, the Panthers failed to move on as a team. The other SVC team in tournament action Tuesday was Piketon down at Shawnee State Park. Piketon's team failed to advance, but Jordan Buckler carded an 85 to advance. |
