GIRLS: Post and Lady Mustangs keep on winning |

Westfall's Breanna Post shot a 39 at Crown Hill to lead Westfall (171) past McClain (212) and Zane Trace (279). Westfall's Sunny Stewart added a 40 and Mary Roush carded a 45. Devonnah Kaiser rounded out the scoring for Westfall with a round of 47. Kirsten Kane and Bailey Yerian led ZT as both shot rounds of 65.
In other action, Huntington's girls beat SE 213-229 as Shania Irvin shot a 44,
and the Huntington boys beat Chillicothe 188-193 as Brennan Pollack carded a 41. |

Four SVC schools got together Monday night at Jaycees in girls' golf, and Westfall shot a 185 to beat Huntington (228), Southeastern (231), and Zane Trace (277). Westfall' Breanna Post carded a 43 to take medalist honors. Teammates Sunny Stewart and Mary Roush both shot 44 in the win.
Other top scores included Huntington's Shania Irvin with a 44. Southeastern was led by Mikayla Crago with a 51, and Zane Trace's top score was shot by Kirsten Kane with a 65. |

Breanna Post and Sunny Stewart both shot rounds of 40 to lead Westfall to a winning total of 170. The score gave Westfall wins over Southeastern, Circleville, Huntington, and Zane Trace.
Shania Irvin carded a 42 to lead Huntington. Southeastern's Haley Carter continued her solid week with a round of 45. Zane Trace was led by Kirsten Kane's 54.
Westfall's winning total was concluded with Erin Roush's round of 44 and a 46 from Mary Roush. |

Running Fox was the host of a boys and girls match Tuesday night. In boys, Zane Trace shot a 169 to beat Chillicothe by 17 strokes. Trevor Bennett shot a 40 to earn medalist. Wes Beam and Jacob Pontius both added rounds of 41 in the win.
For the girls, Southeastern's Haley Carter shot a 42 to lead Southeastern to a wining score of 205 to defeat Zane Trace's 249. Abby Magill carded a 49 for the winner, and for ZT in the loss, Kirsten Kane and Bailey Yerian both shot rounds of 55.
The biggest story of the night in golf was Unioto's Colton Forcum who shot a 31 to lead Unioto to a winning score of 145. Westfall followed with a 183 and Piketon at 185.
Also in girls, Huntington's Shania Irvin was medalist with a 43; however West Union was the 10 stroke winner. |

Teays Valley shot a 159 which was seven strokes better than Unioto as the Shermans suffered a rare loss Monday night.
In other action, Zane Trace girls lost to Hillsboro, and Huntington beat Southeastern. Huntington's Shania Irvin was medalist. |

Breanna Post shot a medalist round of 80 to lead Westfall to seven more wins Saturday as 10 schools were represented in some way at Crown Hill. Teammates Sunny Stewart, Mary Roush, and Erin Roush posted scores of 86, 88, and 102 to complete the winning score. Other SVC notable scores included Huntington's Shania Irvin shooting an 87. Southeastern's Haley Carter carded a 97, and ZT's Kirsten Kane led her team with a 116. |

Nine schools played on the boys' side Saturday as Westfall had the best SVC showing in fourth place. Kaleb Lindsey led the Mustangs with an 88. Other SVC scores included SE's Layton Ackley shooting an 86. Zane Trace's Cole Arnold carded a 91, and Erik Addy of Huntington shot a 98. Tree of Life shot a 332 to win the invite. Washington Court House finished six shots back. Mark David Wright of TOL was the match medalist with a round of 78. |

With the SVC Match #3 coming up Thursday at Valley Vista, some of the league schools played out in Bainbridge on Monday to prepare. Adena shot a 178 - a score three better than Westfall - to take the team honor. Huntington was third with a 199 and Paint Valley was fourth at 216. Paint Valley sophomore Tyler Thompson returned to action after missing some time with an ankle injury to shoot a match-low 40 to take medalist honors.
In girls' golf, Westfall continued to play well. The Lady Mustangs shot a 174 to record wins over McClain and Miami Trace. |

Girls' golf is showing great growth in the SVC. Wednesday night four SVC schools played at Running Fox Golf Course. Westfall shot a 175 to defeat Southeastern (228), Huntington (238), and Zane Trace (270). Huntington's Shania Irvin carded a round of 40 to take medalist honors. The Lady Mustangs were led in the win by Breanna Post and her round of 42. Teammate Sunny Stewart shot a 43. Zane Trace's Kirsten Kane finished two back of Irvin with a round of 42. |

Michael Smart carded a medal round of 37 and his Unioto team shot a 157 as the Shermans rolled to an easy win in Wednesday's match at Dogwood. The winning score was followed by Zane Trace 181, Piketon 189, Adena 191, and Huntington 213. These five schools will join the entire league Thursday night at Dogwood for the first of eight SVC matches.
Other notable rounds came from Unioto's Dallas Johnson who shot a 39. Unioto teammate Josh Cushing and Adena's Austin Dennis both shot 40. |
