win Thursday night's quad-match at Valley Vista. Paint Valley was led by
senior Josh Long's 41 while Zach Skaggs of Adena and Piketon's Jon Crace
earned meet medalist with rounds of 38.
Tuesday evening at Dogwood Golf Course in Waverly, Huntington welcomed Westfall, Adena, and Paint Valley for a tune-up for this
Thursday's SVC league match #2. Huntington escaped with the win on its home course behind a round of 36 from senior Craig Magill.
Westfall's 165 was just three shots back of Huntington's winning score of 162. Coach Blake Rinehart's Adena Warriors shot a 179 to
take third and a much improved Paint Valley squad shot a 187.
SVC golf fans should check back to SVCsportszone.com for complete coverage of this Thursday's SVC match #2.
Senior Craig Magill fired a 73 Saturday to lead the Huntsmen to the win. Piketon's Jon Crace and Jake Nutt, along with Zane Trace's Drew Davis, also carded 73, but it
was Magill who won the playoff to make the team and individual top prizes a clean Huntsmen sweep. SVC MATCH # 4 on Wednesday at Running Fox! Visit WKKJ

Caleb Stidham's 38 joined rounds of 40 from Cory Porter and Ryan Bates as the Shermans rolled to a
nine-stroke victory Tuesday night at Running Fox Golf Course in Chillicothe. Colton Graham led the
second-place Mustangs with a 40, while the host Zane Trace team was led by a 39 from Drew Davis. Piketon
finished just one stroke out of second as the Streaks got a 38 from Jake Nutt and a 40 from Jon Crace.

Few things will help a record more than 18 wins in one day. That is
exactly what Huntington recorded Saturday as the Huntsmen stay hot
winning the 19-team invite at Crown Hill Golf Course. The win comes
just three days after Huntington won SVC Match #4 to trim Unioto's
lead to one point.
Other SVC teams in action at today's invite: Unioto (5th place), ZT (7th place), WF (10th), Adena (11th), Piketon (13th), SE (19th)

Once again it was senior Craig Magill - who shot 38 - who supplied the steady play to put the Huntington golf team in position to win SVC MATCH #6; however,
on this night, it was the fifth score of Zach Thompson (42) that proved to be four better than Unioto's Ryan Bates to give the Huntsmen the fifth score tie-breaker
and a first-place finish in Thursday's league match. After both team's top four added up to 162 the fifth score came into play to give the green and white the win.
Along with Magill, Unioto's Caleb Stidham, Westfall's Slade Ranke, Piketon's Jon Crace, and Southeastern's Ben Davis all carded 38 to share the top individual
honor.
SVC MATCH #7 & #8 will be held at Foxfire Golf Course next Thursday. The front nine and the back nine will be divided to count as two different matches.
Huntington now leads Unioto by one point entering the final day, and with Stidham and Magill both shooting 38, the Player of the Year race has Stidham leading by
less than a stroke per round entering the final pair of nine-hole rounds. MORE

Huntington shot a 321 Saturday at Jaycees which was four back of Logan Elm's winning score. The eleven-team field also
included Westfall (4th), Adena (5th), host SE (8th), and ZT (9th). Huntington's Craig Magill shot 72 which was the low round of
the invite.
