Thursday afternoon the eight league schools got together
at Valley Vista Golf Course - home of the Paint Valley
Bearcats - for SVC Match #3. Unioto made it three
wins in as many league matches as the Shermans posted
a team score of 163 to sneak past second-place
Southeastern who finished just three strokes back.
Individually, Southeastern's Ben Davis was medalist with
a round of 37.

Remember, individuals must play in seven matches to
qualify for all-league at the end of the year. If a player
does score in all eight, only the player's top seven scores
will count in the all-league standings. Therefore, fans can
look at individual scoring in a couple of ways at this
point. One, you can look at the average for a player
through three weeks, or two, you can rank them only by
the best two individual rounds to this point.

Unioto once again showed great balance in their line-up.
The Shermans posted four scores of 41 or better. The
win gives them a three-point lead in the
team standings.
Unioto's winning score was a result of Colton Forcum's
38. Teammate Dallas Johnson carded a 40, and both
Sam Calvin and Josh Cushing both shot a 41.

Next up for the SVC comes next Wednesday when the
league travels to Zane Trace's home course Running Fox
in Chillicothe for SVC Match #4.
