Wednesday afternoon the eight league schools got
together at Big Beaver Golf Course - home of the
Piketon Redstreaks - for SVC Match #2. Unioto made
it two wins in as many league matches as the Shermans
posted a team score of 152 to roll over second-place
Southeastern who finished 20 strokes back. Individually,
Unioto was led by Colton Forcum's medalist round of
34.

Remember, individuals must play in seven matches to
qualify for all-league at the end of the year. If a player
does score in all eight, only the player's top seven scores
will count in the all-league standings. Therefore, fans can
look at individual scoring in a couple of ways at this
point. One, you can look at the average for a player
through two weeks, or two, you can rank them only by
the best individual round to this point.

Unioto, a team that makes media sources sound like a
broken record when talking about the depth of this
team, just continues to get top-to-bottom production in
this year's line-up. The win gives them a two-point lead
in the
team standings. Unioto's winning score was a
result of Josh Cushing's 37, Dallas Johnson's 39, and
Michael Smart's 42. Southeastern earns seven in second
while Adena earned six for their third-place finish.

Next up for the SVC comes next Thursday when the
league travels to Paint Valley's home course Valley Vista
out in Bainbridge for SVC Match #3. Six days later the
league will play Running Fox Golf Coures in SVC
Match #4.
