Rumfield records 18 point, 20 rebound night in Paint Valley's road win at SE
Paint Valley senior forward Tristan Rumfield had a monster night in a 41-28 Paint Valley road win over Southeastern. Rumfield scored 18 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, and recorded three steals.

The Bearcats used pressure defense and several trips to the charity stripe to outscore the Lady Panthers 16-3 in the second quarter.

Southeastern, who struggled in foul trouble with Olivia Arledge, Catherine Dresbach, and Sophie McCorkle, did make a third-quarter run. The blue and white cut the PV lead to as low as six, but the Bearcats responded with a pair of buckets from Erica Barker to stretch the lead back to double-digits.

In the win, Rumfield was the only PV player in double-figures. Barker and Abbie Walls both added nine points.

In the loss, Southeastern got a nice all-around performance from Arledge. Despite playing less than 20 minutes due to the before mentioned foul trouble, the talented young center scored seven points, grabbed nine rebounds, and recorded three blocks. Catherine Dresbach led Southeastern with nine points and she also recorded nine rebounds.
