All-Time "Dream Team"
Based on the preliminary round of the voting, fans appear to be open-minded with a player only playing in the SVC one year; however, it was obvious in the voting that fans felt a player must have played in the SVC and not just for a current SVC team in years prior to their school joining the league. This kept some big names from the 1950s and 1960s off the final ballot.
Over the past month, several people voted through a variety of ways and these votes have given us the top seven (plus ties) from each decade. Here is the breakdown by decade, and please note, the athletes are listed in order of graduation year, NOT in the order of votes received in the preliminary round.

You can also use our voice message system for our podcast show. Call 740-569-3254 to leave your message in support of any players you feel need to be on the final “Dream Team” for sure. We will play as many as possible on the upcoming show.
Fans, you can find links at the top of this page to look at the 1,000-point club as well as the list of POYs in the history of the SVC. This is why the voice message could be so important, because it is a way to explain (for all fans to hear) why some players did not score 1,000 points or perhaps there were two really good players who graduated the same year.
The voting will go through the remainder of the boys' regular season. We will announce the release of the "Dream Team" on our final winter podcast show.
