Westfall win keeps Mustangs even with Piketon
Double-double for Roepke in win
What started as a tight game for the first three quarters, ended  in a 45-33 victory for Zane Trace Saturday afternoon in Frankfort.

The Lady Pioneers outscored the Lady Warriors 16-6 in the final period to earn a win that gives them second-place all alone in the SVC at 8-2.

A big stat in this game was the rebounding. Zane Trace won the battle of the boards 36-17.

In the win for ZT, Jess Roepke recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sierra Sigman added 10 points and Makinzee Tatman and Tasha Harrington scored eight and seven points, respectively.

For Adena, Ashley Jordan was the only player in double-figures. Jordan scored 14 points, grabbed seven boards, and blocked two shots. Jordan is now just nine points shy of 1,000 career points.
Westfall started fast Saturday night leading at all stops 16-6, 37-14, 54-22, and eventually the 31-point victory. Click here to see tonight's leading scorers from both teams.
Lady Redstreaks even up overall record with win at Westfall
The Piketon Lady Redstreaks picked up a 59-45 road win Saturday afternoon at Westfall. The win improves Piketon to 7-7 overall.

In the win, Holly Brabson scored 20 points and Heather Burns added 13 points. Alex Southworth also returned to the line-up after missing some time with a foot injury and the freshman scored 12 points.

Westfall, who held a lead early in third quarter and still only trailed by five at the end of the third period, got another big performance from Makenzie Wippel. Wippel scored 20 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out three assists. Jess Shannon added 13 points and two assists while Jess Brown chipped in nine points for the Lady Mustangs.
UNIOTO REMAINS PERFECT WITH WIN AT SE
The Lady Shermans allowed only three first quarter points and only nine before the break as they opened up a 43-9 advantage at the half. The second half was more of the same as the purple and gold rolled to a 73-26 win to improve to 13-0 overall on the season.

Sophomore Mackenzie Arledge scored 22 points to lead the Lady Tanks in the win.
Huntington wins low-scoring game at PV
The Lady Huntsmen improved to 7-3 in SVC play with a 29-23 victory at Paint Valley Saturday afternoon. SVCsportszone is still trying to gather stats from this game and will post them as soon as possible.
