's Athlete of the Week
Monday, September 29th - Saturday, October 4th
Buddy Barnes rushed 27 times for
275 yards Friday night against a
Westfall team that is three wins
shy of winning a gold football.
Barnes also scored a pair of
touchdowns with runs of 67 and 30
yards. With Adena's inexperience
in the passing game, teams
continue to load the box; however,
the Adena senior continues to post
incredible numbers.

The big night moved Barnes into
the SVC's top rushing spot in terms
of yardage. He also continues to
lead in scoring and is in the top-five
of yards per carry and touchdowns.
Southeastern's Cassie Peters was
nominated by multiple people this
week for her fine postseason
performance. Peters was selected

During the regular season, Peters
was selected honorable mention
All-SVC making her the first
female in league history to earn
any all-league distinction.
