| Steven Hall, Southeastern (Track): Hall advanced to the regionals in 4 events. He won the 100, 200, and was a part of Southeastern's championship 4x100 team. He was also a member of the 4x400 team that finished 3rd. Trevor Downs, Zane Trace (Baseball): The Zane Trace pitcher continued his great season by helping his Pioneers to a district championship. Downs won two games, first against Lucasville Valley, and later vs Portsmouth West. Adrian Ross, Unioto (Track): Ross advanced to the regionals in 3 events. He finished 2nd in the 1600m, 3rd in the 3200m, and was a part of Unioto's 2nd place 4x800 relay team. Caleb Southworth, Piketon (Track): The Piketon junior advanced to the regional in 4 events. He won the 300 meter hurdles, and was part of Piketon's district champion 4x200, and 4x400 relay teams. |
| Brandee Riley, Adena (Track): The Adena speedster advanced to regional competition by earning 3 first place finishes in the district meet, and one 2nd place. She won the 100 meter, and finished 2nd in the 200. Brandee was also part of Adena's champion 4x200, and 4x100 relay teams. Crystal Detty, Adena (Softball): The Adena sophomore continued her outstanding season by winning 3 games this week. First she threw a 3 hitter vs Zane Trace. Later she picked up wins against Piketon and Belpre in the district championship game. Erin Bane, Unioto (Softball): Bane tripled and drove in 2 runs in a win vs Rock Hill. She also tripled and drove in 2 runs vs Wheelersburg. Maria Murray, Unioto (Softball): Maria tossed a 3 hitter, striking out 10 vs Rock Hill. At the plate she contributed with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. She also went 2-2 in a district final loss to Wheelersburg. |
| Piketon, Track The Piketon speedster helped his team to a district championship and advanced to the regionals with 4 first place finishes. Individually he won the 100m with a time of 11.26, and the 200m at 22.78. Keiffer also was a part of the district champion 4x200, and 4x400 relay teams. |
| Piketon, Softball The Piketon pitcher continued her dominating season by putting together 3 outstanding pitching performances. She defeated Cbesapeake in the District semi finals allowing only 2 hits while striking out 13. She than struck out 20 Adena Warriors in a tune up game for each team. Finally, on Saturday, Shella shutout Northwest stiking out 13 while leading her Redstreaks to the regional tournament. So far this season, she has 261 K's and owns an ERA of 0.58 |
