Well, as I promised in the reply email to this fan, I would try to come up with something. Below is SVCsportsozne.com’s good luck poetry for the Adena Lady Warriors.
STATE TITLE WELL IN SIGHT

can be an overused word,
but when it comes to Adena Volleyball,
it’s far from being absurd.
Two decades of dominance -
that tells the entire story,
and this weekend the Lady Warriors
will take a shot at high school glory.
An SVC gold ball, a sectional title,
and really the district too.
These almost have become assumed
for the ladies in two-shade blue.
In the Sweet 16
is when the season really begins
For that is when Adena eyes the Final Four,
with just a few more wins.
The leader and two-time POY
is Cadie Cory the senior setter.
Her great hands and outstanding vision
make all her teammates better.
When Arledge is the front row
it’s really an easy bet.
She is the go-to target
as she dominates the net.
A staple of the program
is their incredible skill.
Like Coy and Ackley in the back
digging up a would-be kill.
Speaking of efficiency -
Grigsby’s game is sound.
The junior impacts the line-up
all the way around.
This year’s rotation does seem deeper
than Adena teams of past.
Coach Smith has called many unsung heroes
from the supporting cast.
The SVC says “Good luck Adena”
in Thursday’s semifinal fight
as the Warriors head to Wright State
with a state title well in sight.
