EMILY
ROBINSON
Robinson scored 21 points
to beat Paint Valley and
then scored 21 more to
beat Adena. In the PV
win, she scored all of them
in the second half
including 17 points with
four threes in the third
quarter. She also had
three triples in the Adena
win.
Westfall Lady Mustangs
REX
HARTMAN
Southeastern Panthers
Winter of 2017-2018
#7
As teammates from
Unioto and Paint Valley
split a lot of votes this
week, it was Hartman’s
32-point performance in
an overtime win against
New Hope Christian
Academy that pushed him
to the top of the vote
during this period.
Hartman hit six threes in
the win as he has helped
his Panthers to seven
overall wins with four
games to play. Keep in
mind SE only won five
regular season games a
year ago.
Gabe Fisher, Unioto
(Basketball):
The Unioto forward
has played at an incredible level
since the turn of the calendar to
2018. Fisher has been a constant
double-double with many monster
rebound nights. Fisher’s scoring
average is also on the rise as his
Shermans are now three wins shy of
completing another gold ball run.

Logan Swackhammer, Unioto
(Basketball):
The Unioto point
guard has continued to lead Unioto
in its charge to continue the
incredible streak. Individually,
Swackhammer is rewriting records
as well. He is now the all-time
assists leader in school history, will
soon be the record holder for
games played, and is on the
doorstep of 1,000 career points as
well.

Dylan Swingle & Bryce Newland,
Paint Valley (Basketball):
It is
another year where February
means a late-season charge from
Paint Valley. The Bearcats are
winners of seven of their last nine
games, and Swingle and Newland
have led the way. Swingle has
dominated throughout including a
40-point performance against SE.
Newland has had games of 26, 27,
and 29 during this stretch.

Also receiving votes during this
period:
Zach Fout & JD Blevins
(Adena), Elijah McCloskey & Seth
Beeler (Huntington), Hunter Hamlin
(Paint Valley), Tanner Perdue
(Piketon), Lane Ruby
(Southeastern), Peyton Hill &
Brandon Kennedy (Unioto), Jay
Wyman (Westfall), Isaac Beam,
Cam Evans & Triton Davidson
(Zane Trace)
Thank you Herbie Strange for the continued support!
Herbie has been with us from day one (now in 10th year)!
SEVENTH WINTER SELECTIONS . . . SVC BASKETBALL'S FINAL WEEK OF 2017
Braiden Collins, Huntington
(Basketball):
As a player preparing
to go over 1,000 points in less than
50 games, Collins entered the record
book on the defensive end this past
week. Collins recorded her 117th
steal of the year to set a new
Huntington and SVC record for
steals in a season.

Ella Skeens, Southeastern
(Basketball):
The senior continues
to chase history over 30 points at a
time. In looking at the current
numbers (a little beyond this voting
period), Skeens is now less than 100
points from being the greatest scorer
in conference history.

Also receiving votes during this
period:
Ari DaRif (Adena), Shyanne
Conley (Huntington), Lexi Woods,
Lea McFadden & Kelsey Dunn (Paint
Valley), Avery Reuter & Grace
Lightle (Piketon), Rachel Collins
(Southeastern), Jocie Fisher
(Unioto), Marcy Dudgeon (Westfall),
