Despite Adena’s
struggle in the
standings, Stark
had a great week
for the two-shade
blue. She was 5-for-
9, two doubles, a
HR, and four RBI.

It was a big week for the
sweet-swinging lefty. White
was 7-for-12 with a double,
a triple, and a HR. He
scored six times and had
three RBI. Unioto defeated
Southeastern and Zane
Trace during the week, and
the Tanks continue to
watch its league lead grow.
Becca Brown, Westfall
(Softball):
Brown tossed a
no-hitter while striking out 13
in a win over Southeastern.
Brown also had three hits
including two triples in the win.

Hallie Pinkerton, Unioto
(Softball):
The freshman
tossed three innings of relief
last week to help Unioto come
from behind to beat Zane
Trace. Pinkerton also
delivered the GW hit as
Unioto defeated the Lady
Pioneers 7-6 in walk-off
fashion.

(Baseball):
Dawson tossed a
no-hitter in a 10-1 win over PV
last Monday night.

Gunnar Free, Adena
(Baseball):
Two nights later it
was Dawson’s teammate -
Gunnar Free - tossing a three-
hit shutout as Adena beat
Piketon 7-0.


Jay Riley, Paint Valley
(Baseball):
The senior was 4-
for-4 with a double and four
RBI in PV’s win over
Huntington last week. Riley
then finished the week with a
win on the mound - his second
in as many chances since
being released by the doctors
to pitch. He also had four hits
in that DH sweep of Peebles.
