Piketon falls to Oak Hill
Wednesday night’s Division III Regional Semifinal at “The Convo” in Athens started well for Piketon, but Oak Hill
responded quickly and played out in front the rest of the way in a 46-44 win.

Piketon started fast building a 10-2 lead, but Oak Hill finished the opening quarter on a 14-3 run to lead it 16-13 after
one period of play. The momentum continued in the second quarter as Oak Hill doubled up the Redstreaks 12-6 to
take a 28-19 halftime advantage. After an even third quarter, Oak Hill led 39-30 as Piketon was in need of another
great fourth quarter push to extend its season.

The Redstreaks did cut into the Oak Hill advantage and eventually got within four at 46-42. Piketon’s Craigen Moore
scored off an OB under to cut the lead to 46-44. Following a Piketon foul, Oak Hill missed the front end of the bonus
situation, and a Zach Farmer rebound gave Piketon a chance to tie. Following multiple Piketon timeouts, Piketon was
unable to convert as the Oak Hill defense prevailed for the two-point win.

The loss ends the season at 22-4 for Piketon. Moore led the way in his final career game with 12 points. Jeremy
Farmer added 11 points and six rebounds.
