the 1600 and the 3200 on her way to a medalist

Jamie Hyden, Unioto (Track): The senior thrower
set a new school record in the shot with a throw of

made quite a splash on SVC softball as her pitching

Charlene Stout, Paint Valley (Track): The PV
junior has recorded wins in the 200 and 400 early in
the year, and she has jumped well over 15 feet in
the long jump setting a new meet record while
winning the event at the Southeastern Invite.

Taylor Baker, Paint Valley (Track): Like her
teammate Stout, Baker was rewriting the record
book at the Southeastern Invite. The sophomore

Kirk Yates, Adena (Baseball): Yates is off to a
great start at the plate and he also pitched his

Daniel Gardner, Paint Valley (Track): The
senior set a new meet record in winning the 1600
at the Southeastern Invite. Gardner also won the

Jerrod Collins, Zane Trace (Baseball): Last
year's SVC HR leader has already left the yard
four times this season.

Steven Hall, Southeastern (Track): Hall won
the 100 in a new meet record time and then won
the 200 as well while running in his team's
Southeastern Invite.

Bryce Arledge, Unioto (Baseball): The Unioto
lefty tossed a shutout against the high-powered
Zane Trace offense last week.

Logan Chaney, Huntington (Track): Chaney
posted an incredible 13-6 in the pole vault to set a
new meet record at the SE Invite. Chaney went
three feet higher than the second-place finisher.

Alek Stonerock, Westfall (Baseball): The WF
junior beat Piketon and Unioto to help his
Mustangs to a first-place start in SVC play.

Last year's conference Player of the Year
started this year's league play with an
incredible performance. Bane hit for the cycle
against Southeastern while driving in 10 runs.
She also had two hits and two RBIs in a win
over Zane Trace. Bane also recorded the win in
the circle in both games.
The Zane Trace junior has started three games
on the season and completed all of them.
Downs is 3-0 with an ERA of 0.33 while striking
out 20 batters in 21 innings of work. Downs is
also hitting .400 at the plate as ZT is off to a 7-2
