AUTUMN
SMITH
The talented sophomore scored eight of her team-high 17 points in the first quarter to help Adena to a 46-30 win over Lucasville Valley Thursday night. Adena now will play Oak Hill for the district championship.
The senior helped lead his Piketon Redstreaks to a 79-56 sectional championship win over West Union Saturday night. Lewis scored a team-high 18 points to lead the Redstreaks.
Honorable Mention
Whitney Hollon, Paint Valley (Basketball): Last week's winner scored 18 points in Paint Valley's tournament loss to Waterford.

Kirsti Yates, Adena (Basketball): The senior leader for Adena grabbed 13 rebounds and scored nine points to help lead her Lady Warriors to a win over Lucasville Valley.

Caleb Stratton, Paint Valley (Basketball): The junor scored 18 points in Paint Valley's tournament loss to North Adams.

Kirk Maxwell, Zane Trace (Basketball): The SVC Player of the Year scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help lead his Pioneers to a sectional title.

Logan Markko, Paint Valley (Basketball): The junior post scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the Bearcats lost to North Adams in the sectional semifinal.
