Fall of 2009 - Week 6
The Adena running back had a great week in what many looked at as an upset win for the Warriors over Paint Valley. Hutchison had 15 carries for 111 yards and two scores on the ground, and he also caught a 41 yard touchdown through the air.
The talented all-around talent has her Lady Pioneers in second-place of this year's standings. This week she led ZT to two wins including a tough road win at WF Thursday. In that win, Roepke had 20 kills, 6 aces, 8 digs, and 2 blocks. Roepke is currently in the top three in the SVC in kills, blocks, and aces.

Adrian Ross, Unioto (Cross Country): The sophomore won the Piketon CC Invite on Saturday.

Vinnie Williamson, Westfall (Football):
In Friday's win over Southeastern, the Mustang quarterback threw for 242 yards and 3 TDs.

Kirk Maxwell, Zane Trace (Football): The senior quarterback had another great night. Maxwell threw for two scores and ran for two more as his Pioneers recorded a 28-0 win over Huntington.

Nick Gardner, Paint Valley (Cross Country): Garnder won the Down on the Farm meet this week has his first-place finish also lifted the Bearcats to another team win.

Jordan Miller, Piketon (Football): The Redstreak quarterback continues to improve each week. This week he ran for 146 yards and rushed for another 112. He also threw for a TD.

Ben Davis, Southeastern (Golf): Davis posted the best SVC score of the day at this year's sectional as his 81 allows him to advance to the districts this week.
Taylor Hatfield, Zane Trace (Cross Country) & Michele Schambs, Zane Trace (Golf): We almost had our first repeat winner of the year as the ZT fans had trouble deciding between these two previous winners and the ZT girl who did win this week. Hatfield won the Down on the Farm meet and the Piketon Invite this week while Schambs shot a 77 to win the sectional medal honors.

Kelsey Bielanow, Adena (Volleyball): Bielanow had 36 kills in just six sets of play - a 6.0 kpg. average, which is well over her league's second best average of 4.43 kpg.

Kaitlin Duarte, Southeastern (Volleyball): The Southeastern setter led her Panthers to four wins this week - none bigger than Tuesday's straight set win over Unioto. In that win, Duarte recorded 38 assists and five blocks.

Morgan Gumm, Unioto (Soccer): Gumm scored six times in two wins as she scored four goals in a win over Hamilton Township and two against Logan Elm. She also had two assists this week.

Megan Fultz, Huntington (Volleyball): The junior had 14 kills, 11 digs, 3 assists, and two blocks in a straight set win over Paint Valley Tuesday.

Erin Bane, Unioto (Soccer): Bane had two goals and an assist in both wins this week for the Lady Tanks. Unioto is now 9-2-1.

Catherine Dresbach, Southeastern (Volleyball): Dresbach had a great week while balancing two sports. In volleyball, she led her Panthers to four wins including an upset win over Unioto. In cross country, she finished 12th in the Down on the Farm meet.
