Fall of 2009 - Week 10
Adrian Ross finished second in Saturday's regional to lead his team to a fourth place finish - a finish good enough to allow Ross and his Shermans to return to Scioto Downs as a team next weekend. Ross, just a sophomore, is the SVC champ, district champ, and now, regional runner-up in his last three races.
Taylor Hatfield has been winning all year long and on Saturday she posted her most impressive win to date. The Zane Trace sophomore finished the cross country course at Troy in a time of 18:58.22 - a time good enough to make her the D-II individual regional champion. In the last 16 days, Hatfield has won the SVC, the district, and now, the regional individual titles.
