| The Unioto signal caller was outstanding Friday night. In helping Unioto break a 22-game losing streak, Detillion threw for over 100 yards, ran for over 100 yards, and scored all three Unioto touchdowns. |
| Easy choice on the girls side this week as on Saturday, Hatfield was up to her winning habits again as she posted a win at the Pickerington North Invitational.
Hatfield placed first out of 292 runners in the Girls Tiger division race in a time of 20:14. |

| Tyler Tackett, Piketon (Football): The senior tailback rushed 23 times for 139 yards and scored Piketon's only touchdown. Kirk Maxwell, Zane Trace (Football): The senior quarterback needed only 13 carries to gain 149 yards and to find the end zone twice. Maxwell also threw a touchdown. Drew Nichols, Unioto (Golf): The Unioto one-man has enjoyed a great start to the 2009 season. This week, Nichols carded rounds of 38 and 37 to lead the Shermans to a pair of league match victories. Logan Krivak, Paint Valley (Cross Country): The Bearcats top runner set a new school record while winning a meet at Piketon this week. Krivak finished with a time of 17:15. |
| Erin Bane, Unioto (Soccer): The sophomore scored two goals to help Unioto come from behind to beat Minford 3-1 in this year's opener. Michele Schambs, Zane Trace (Golf): Shot a 44 which counted for the Pioneers in Tuesday's league match and then fired a 40 which earned her the medalist honors while playing as an individual against Logan Elm and Westfall. |
